Hi! I'm Josie, and I'm a First Class Law Graduate from the University of Oxford. I loved studying law because it was endlessly varied, fusing the need to be logical but also creative. Hi! I'm Josie, and I'm a First Class Law Graduate from the University of Oxford. I loved studying law because it was endlessly varied, fusing the need to be logical but also creative. I hope to pass onto younger students a clearer perspective when studying law: breaking down unnecessarily mind-boggling legal jargon, lengthy cases and complicated precedent into simple, yet still fascinating, pieces of the legal puzzle. I believe only when you have this clear perspective can you make your own additions, give your own opinions, and enjoy learning what is the law!


I also offer sessions on personal statements and Oxbridge admissions: namely because these are two things I struggled with and managed to decipher myself! I believe it is vital Oxford/Russell Group universities should be open to everyone, and that a little help with admissions / personal statement writing goes a long way!

About my sessions

Generally, a session will follow the structure of: 1) breaking down the core parts of whatever subject/topic we are studying, 2) going through any articles / further reading on that subject/topic, and 3) going through an exam essay / question using the subject matter we have learnt (while figuring how best to score the highest marks!)
