Hello Everyone! My name is Greg (23). I've just completed my Bachelors Degree in History of Art at the University of Warwick, in which I achieved a 1st Class mark. I am currently continuing my studies in Art History, in the form of a Master of Philosophy, at the University of Bristol, in which my thesis will focus on the Political Ideology and Propaganda of British Fascist Organisations.

Prior to university I achieved 7A*'s and 2A's at GCSE and 4A's at A-Level in Psychology, Government and Politics, Ethics and Philosophy and an Extended Project (EPQ), which focused on Anarchist Political Theory and it's Practical Applications.

From this culmination of experiences, whether it be school, university or work, I have gained an acute sense of what is required of a student by these institutions to succeed. There are several secrets and tricks to academic progress which students are often and unfortunately unaware of and it is this that I wish to help combat.

So, whether it be subject specific help that is required or more general advice and strategy that you need, please do not hesitate to contact me and I will do my very utmost to help.

So, how will I help you achieve your goals? Well, through this simple process, outlined below, I hope to reduce both the perceived complexity of your subject and the system of marking which you are pitted up against.

(1) Identify - First, we must identify what you are finding problematic, is it the subject in general, a specific topic, its terminology or the examination process?

(2) Breakdown - By separating each cog of this machine, we can tackle where and why issues are occurring and how to solve them in a much calmer and easier manner.

(3) Analyse - Now that each problem is separated and contained everything becomes much more manageable. Henceforth, we can go about analyzing each component, learning what is required of the student to succeed.

(4) Revise - Here we can cover any points which may still be problematic for the student. Furthermore, revision techniques can be discussed in order to optimize the students ability to refer back to key information within an examination setting.

(5) Mentality - Before a world class athlete partakes in a race, they are unlikely if ever to succeed without mental preparation, so why shouldn't you be just as prepared? I have seen so many intelligent and well-prepared students fall at the last hurdle. So, let's get mentally prepared!
