About me

Hi, my name is Robert and I'm originally from Cambridge but now I study Economics at Exeter. I have had a passion for maths and geography from a young age as I enjoyed the process of working things out but also how things work around us. I always found it useful and more interesting when I was taught why something works and how it works as this allowed me to apply it to multiple situations and I think this has helped me significantly to get to where I am now.

About my sessions

When teaching I will cover any prior knowledge that is essential for understanding the main focus of the lesson, then from there I will start teaching from basics whilst expanding on the topic to cover more challenging examples so that the student can understand the subject from basics all the way to the hardest parts of the topic. This will give them a better understanding of the topic and allow them to apply their rich knowledge to a diverse range of questions. For all my private students,...

Stacey Parent from March

16 Feb

Robert has been able to identify Kerry's gaps very quickly. It is important to her to understand why she needs to do certain things in maths so that it makes sense, she wasn't getting this from school but after only a few sessions with Robert things have clicked into place. Her confidence has improved no end - thank you
