About me

It is very important for a child to enjoy the space in which they learn and respond well to the person who is teaching them. Therefore, the most important aspect of tutoring for me is engaging with the student by building strong communication so that learning can be both as fun and as effective as possible for them. I have worked as a tutor of English and Maths for just over a year, and previous to this I have had much experience working with children whether it be charity based (SHINE organi...

It is very important for a child to enjoy the space in which they learn and respond well to the person who is teaching them. Therefore, the most important aspect of tutoring for me is engaging with the student by building strong communication so that learning can be both as fun and as effective as possible for them. I have worked as a tutor of English and Maths for just over a year, and previous to this I have had much experience working with children whether it be charity based (SHINE organisation), education based or sport based (netball coaching ).


I am honest, hardworking, reliable and passionate. I have a positive attitude, lots of patience and a good sense of humour.

About my sessions

Sessions will begin with the setting of goals. For example: 'To be able to define pathetic fallacy confidently and provide at least two examples with reference to the text.' The amount of goals set will depend on both the material being covered and the preferences and level of the student. There will be writing exercises but these will be formed through discussion and careful planning.
