About me

Since the beginning of my GCSEs, Maths and Physics were the most inspiring subjects for me. By engaging in Physics Society I have made many successful experiments including making my electrolysis apparatus. My efforts enabled me to win a title of Laureate at Regional Physics Olympiad and later, to get a full academic scholarship to a leading private school. By engaging in Physics Society I have made many successful experiments including making my electrolysis apparatus. My efforts enabled me to win a title of Laureate at Regional Physics Olympiad and later, to get a full academic scholarship to a leading private school. In Maths I enjoy the most the beauty of solutions and sophisticated questions. Physics is interesting for me because it gives me a sense of dealing with real objects that interact with one another in harmony of natural laws. Currently, I am studying aeronautical engineering this gives me a lot of hands-on-experience and shows applications of Maths and Physics into the real world.

My tutorials give proper preparation and confidence in the subject that will make exams much less stressful. I am helping my students to improve by finding areas that need the greatest attention, working with students to create a deep understanding of the topics and practice on appropriate examples to students’ needs. What is the most important thing for me, is to make my tutees enjoy and like the subject as it makes them look forward to learning more.

About my sessions

I structure my sessions with a great focus on an understanding of the topic and answering the particular needs of the student. In the beginning, I always recap the last lessons and establish clear aims for this session. After that, we work on the topic that is the most unclear for the student or on the problematic questions. Nextly, we do the main topic of the lesson and practice on the questions from a student’s examination board. At the end of the lesson, I summarise what we have done and a...

At the end of the lesson, I summarise what we have done and ask my tutee what needs attention at our next session. I also share with my students my techniques for successful studying and l show them ways how they can achieve their educational goals.

For every lesson I prepare materials appropriate to the student's needs and examination board, carefully working through examples to be able to explain them clearly to my tutees. Grades are significant measures of progress, however for me far more important is student’s confidence in the subject therefore, I value more insightful understanding of the topics rather than short-term gains. In my lessons, I aim to show my tutees that learning is easy, interesting and fun. This is the best encouragement for the student as one starts to like and enjoy the subjects.
