About me

I'm a first year medical student and the University of Edinburgh, originally from a small village near Oxford - but loving living and studying in this beautiful city! Having always been a reader at heart, my childhood dream was to become a writer - but at school I quickly discovered my love for science and by the time I was choosing my GCSEs I knew I wanted to be a doctor. Having always been a reader at heart, my childhood dream was to become a writer - but at school I quickly discovered my love for science and by the time I was choosing my GCSEs I knew I wanted to be a doctor. I've always been hard-working and diligent (and genuinely enjoyed school!), but I also love sports and music and strive to maintain a work life balance. As a recent A level student, I know only too well the stress of exams, and hope that I can use my experiences and what I've learned through my own revision to help make it easier for others! The best feeling in the world was getting the grades I needed for my dream university course - and I hope I can help my tutees to feel the same way on results day.

I know vocal explanations can be helpful at the time but are often difficult to remember; I make it a priority to make note of anything discussed in the session, so students have access to...

I know vocal explanations can be helpful at the time but are often difficult to remember; I make it a priority to make note of anything discussed in the session, so students have access to it afterwards and use it for their revision (and I have a great deal of mind maps from my own revision over the years that I'm more than happy to share!).
