About me

I'm a veterinary science student at Bristol University, currently studying in my 4th of 5 years. For me, the most enjoyable aspect of my course is the application of the taught content in the real world. I've recently completed a Masters in London as part of my intercalated year from the veterinary course, where I was given the opportunity to pursue my interests and carry out some of my own original research.

At university I was a member of the university athletics team and played rugby and hockey more casually for my course. I was also the sports representative of the veterinary society in my 2nd year of studies

I would then talk through these, clarifying any issue that the student may have. However, if...

Before the first lesson I will speak to the student and their parents so that I can plan the lessons in the context of their goals. For me, the best way to revise for exams was through exposure to questions, particularly those from previous years' exams. I would therefore ask the student to describe any questions that they are struggling with prior to the lesson in order to maximise my usefulness. I would then talk through these, clarifying any issue that the student may have. However, if the student had any style in which they preferred to learn, then I would be more than happy to accomodate them.

As we covered more topics I would revisit previous topics to consolidate these for the student and to measure progress.
