About my sessions

I believe my students get the most out of our lessons when they come with their own questions about what they have studied in school and problematic areas that they want to focus on, as this promotes engagement on their part. This may be best done by reinforcing and nailing material that is being covered in school, or by working through the course material independently.

I believe my students get the most out of our lessons when they come with their own questions about what they have studied in school and problematic areas that they want to focus on, as this promotes engagement on their part. This may be best done by reinforcing and nailing material that is being covered in school, or by working through the course material independently.

I am currently using google docs as a teaching aid to structure the material of the course and individual lessons for my students (we discuss and fill out the various topics together and taking time to discuss possible exam questions). My students have found these helpful to keep for their own revision. I am happy to set and mark questions for my students, and feedback on these should give them a clear idea of how they are progressing and what they ought to focus on.
