Having graduated from the University of Glasgow this year with a 2.1 Masters in French and Spanish and I am now studying a Postgraduate Diploma in Education to become a French and Spanish teacher.

As part of my degree I spent a year studying at the Universidad de Salamanca in Spain and 3 months working in Annecy in the French Alps therefore I have a wealth of knowledge and experience with these languages.

I decided to become a teacher because I have always enjoyed working with young people and I realised over time how significant a teacher's input can be on a pupil's life. I was inspired to take that responsibility on; to share my passion for my subject with young people and to have a positive impact on their lives and approach to education.

My teaching is centred around collaboration, feedback and enthusiasm!

I present well prepared lessons in a variety of formats so that every child can understand

I provide an environment where students feel comfortable asking questions about things they do not understand

I strive to understand the student's learning style, how they best express their knowledge and play to the student's strengths

I focus on extending and enriching vocabulary through listening, talking, writing and reading
