About me

Hi, I'm Disha and I'm currently an undergrad studying Maths at Oxford and am very interested in how people learn and study mathematics. I love maths because of the creativity behind it, the elegance of a proof or the way you can tackle an algebraic problem through geometry means there are countless ways to look at and solve the same problem much like different facets of a gem. I think many people mistake mathematics for a course with esoteric jargon and inaccessible formulas but I want to help break the stereotype. I hope to help you with your problem solving abilities and equip you with the right skills to ace your exams and develop a better understanding of your subject. I have tutoring experience and whether its a more in depth understanding or a more exam-oriented style you're going for, I hope to tailor my lessons to best suit your needs and help you reach your potential.

Alternatively we can work through a past paper if they completed some and are unsure on some of their methods. I tend to focus more on the method rather than the answer and aim to build my student's confidence to the point where they can attempt new methods and more difficult questions using the ideas they're learnt with me.
