About me

I am a 4th year medical student, currently taking a year out to intercalate in the Sports and Exercise Medicine BSc. At A-level, I achieved an A* in AQA Biology and A in OCR Chemistry, OCR Mathematics and Edexcel Physics.

I have recently begun tutoring around East London and have, so far, found the experience to be both pleasant and rewarding. I also tutored younger students in maths at school as a supplement to their formal lessons to help them achieve their desired grades.

I enjoy the challenge of explaining concepts in a way that is easy to understand and remember. I can adjust my teaching style to each learner's strengths as well as the goals set by them or their parents.

Learning should be a dynamic process and I keenly believe that allowing a student to work something out themselves. By testing and building on knowledge they already have and steering them toward the answer, the knowledge is cemented in memory far more effectively than traditional one-sided teaching.

I am flexible with availability and have most daytimes free inc. most Sundays but have some commitments in the weekday early evenings (5-8 PM). Feel free to contact me to discuss suitable times for me to tutor you or your child.
