Degree: Medicine (Bachelors) - Bristol University
Hi, my name's Ben, I'm a 4th year medical student at Bristol University. I find science fascinating and hope I can pass on some of my enthusiasm and make some of the topics covered at GCSE and A-Level a bit more engaging.
Outside of teaching I play a fair bit of sport - rugby and rowing, I enjoy travelling and have not long come back from a week in The Alps learning about expedition medicine.
I have an interest in teaching and have been involved with teaching topics to medical students at undergraduate level. Most of all, I'm very friendly and laid-back - please get in contact if you have any questions at all.
I'm happy to carry out the tutorials in whichever way is most useful to you. You can guide what we cover. We'll build up a solid understanding of the important concepts.
We can practice until you get to the point where you can confidently explain concepts to me before moving on to exam questions and exam technique.
Need help with writing personal statements and preparing for interviews? I feel that I could definitely help out with this. I've been through the process myself and have access to information from friends in younger years who have been through the process more recently.
The best way for us to decide if we're suitable for each other is to have a chat... Please feel free to contact me by sending a 'WebMail' or booking a 'Meet The Tutor Session'. Looking forward to hearing from you. I hope I'll be helping you on your way to exam success soon!
