A nature enthusiast, I share my love of Biology and Geography with others, whether they are struggling to understand core principles or pushing themselves towards top grades.
I recognise that every individual is suited to different methods of learning; my patient and encouraging nature helps me to inspire confidence in fully understanding concepts, using a variety of practical activities. I'll happily spend time developing revision strategies, advising on exam techniques to overcome confusing mark scheme systems, and tackling exam papers together whilst giving detailed feedback of how to obtain the marks missed next time.
As a recent Oxbridge graduate who has worked at Oxford interviews and conferences for school leavers, I have a solid understanding of the Oxbridge application process and will gladly present this clearly and accurately. I can also offer carefully considered improvements to personal statements to augment the chances of receiving university offers.
Experience: Over the last two years I tutored several students regularly on a weekly or bi-weekly basis throughout their A-Level Biology courses, in a range of exam boards. This regular reinforcement proves effective, but I also help students with specific tricky topics over a shorter period. I have given feedback to personal statements, and mentored students for study skills and exam strategies.
Availability: I currently work as a Learning Support Assistant in a secondary school, so weekdays after 5pm are best for me.
Feel free to send me a message or book a free meeting on the site, I'd love to discuss your needs further!
