About me

I have a Masters in Biomedical Engineering and Medical Imaging and a Bachelors degree in Maths and Physics, both with First Class grades. I have sat approximately 40 exams throughout my time at university, so have many useful revision tips! For example, I found it useful to practise questions/ methods which I found specifically difficult outside of lessons, this saved a lot of time when it came to revising for exams!

Hobbies: I enjoy doing yoga and ballet in my spare time. I set up a society to campaign and fundraise for UNICEF during the final year of my undergraduate degree because I was shocked that few of my friends knew what they do and how we can help - it was a success and we managed to raise £400 in total over the year!

About my sessions

Tutoring style: My method of tutoring is highly interactive, enabling students to engage with the subject and encouraging creativity. When tutoring maths and physics, especially when it is an area the student finds most difficult, I find it useful to expose them to several questions with varying levels of difficulty, beginning with the less challenging. This allows students to work their way up to the end goal and build their confidence rather than jumping right into the deep...

When tutoring maths and physics, especially when it is an area the student finds most difficult, I find it useful to expose them to several questions with varying levels of difficulty, beginning with the less challenging. This allows students to work their way up to the end goal and build their confidence rather than jumping right into the deep end. This also allows them to solidify their understanding of the topic as a whole.
