About me

About Me:

Hi there! My name is Cynthia and I’m going into my second year studying Law at Lincoln College, Oxford. I offer tuition for English Literature at GCSE Level, English Language and Philosophy and Ethics at A Level as well as support with the Extended Project Qualification, the National Law Admissions Test and Oxbridge Preparation.

At A Level I definitely struggled with managing my studies and could have really benefitted from a little extra help from someone who had recently been through those same difficulties. I hope to be that person for your son or daughter.

Tutorials:

With regards to relevant experience, having two younger sisters means that I am always on hand with advice and tips for revising, whatever the issue may be. I have a genuine love for learning and hope to develop that within my tutees so that problem solving stops being frustrating and becomes fulfilling.

In my tutoring sessions, I aim to instil in my students a deep understanding and confidence in answering exam questions and being able to tackle unfamiliar problems under pressured conditions. It is very important to me that each tutorial is based on the student’s individual interests and reflects their needs.

What next?

I am very flexible with regards to availability so please get in touch. I’ll be happy to address any queries you might have via a Meet the Tutor session.
