About me

Hej, jag heter Becci. So hi, I am Becci and I am currently studying for my mathematics degree at the University of Leeds. I have recently gotten back from my exchange year in Sweden where I studied at the University of Lund. It was a magical experience.

During my time at high school and sixth form I did a little bit of tutoring. At high school it was just if anyone needed help with mathematics while at sixth form I would meet with a year seven girl every week to help her with any issues that she had that week in her maths classes. Moreover, while in Sweden I would go to the local middle school to help the students with their English.

The exam boards that I studied varied from subject to subject. I believe my English Literature GCSE was WJEC while my A-Level was AQA. My mathematics GCSE and A-Level were both on Edexcel I think - however the revision guides I used contained the material from all the main exam boards.

I believe I would be a good tutor because I have done a variety of subjects so I can approach subjects from a different angle and after studying in Sweden I feel I am able to talk to a variety of people and be relatable.

I will try to be available when ever required, i.e. evenings and weekends. And will happily host more sessions in the run up to exams if needed, these can be during the day. In the sessions, I'll aim to improve any issues that the students seem to be having, offer tips on revising and exam techniques as well as just trying to take a different approach and make it more appealing. Mathematics doesn't have to be boring and irrelevant!
