About me

Hi! I'm studying Mathematical Physics at the University of Edinburgh. I chose this subject as the perfect combination of my two favourite subjects from school - maths and physics, although earlier on in my school years if you'd told me I'd be studying a maths-related subject at university I would've laughed in your face!

I took A levels at school, in Physics, Mathematics, Further Mathematics and took an EPQ. I also studied Biology for a long while but dropped it before my exam.

Aside from this, in my spare time I love running, climbing, mountaineering and hiking!

About my sessions

I will talk to students in their first session about what they want to work on, where they find their weaknesses are, and what their strengths are. I will then agree with them what they want to work on and use a combination of past paper questions that they won't be familiar with and develop problem sheets and work through these with the students in the sessions then use these questions to guide where underlying content needs further clarification and understanding, and help with this whe...

I will then agree with them what they want to work on and use a combination of past paper questions that they won't be familiar with and develop problem sheets and work through these with the students in the sessions then use these questions to guide where underlying content needs further clarification and understanding, and help with this where I can. If a student feels they need to focus more on the underlying theory, we can do that, but if it's more exam technique I will tailor sessions more to what the individual needs - we all learn differently!
