Degree: Physics (Masters) - Oxford, Lady Margaret Hall University
Hello, I am a Physics and Maths GCSE, A-level and P.A.T. (Oxford Physics Admissions) tutor aiming to help aspiring students to reach their potential.
My own enjoyment of learning Physics and Maths before university led me to pursue a degree in Physics at Oxford, before undertaking a one year masters which I have just completed. I feel in a position to offer support and encouragement in Physics and Maths to students of any ability, welcoming those looking to increase their confidence in specific areas or who wish for general guidance throughout the subject.
I have experience of tutoring applicants to Oxford fromlocal secondary schools and before that volunteered at an afterschool maths clinic for GCSE students while in sixth form. Since joining MyTutorWeb four years ago I have completed over 120 hours of tutorials online, a further 50 hours offline and been consistantly rated 5*/5.
I discovered it is vital a subject is logically explained at an appropriate pace if it is to not only be mastered but also enjoyed. I look to guide students through the material, using examples along the way, in order to maintain interest and ensure a solid understanding which hopefully fosters a further desire to learn.
