Hey I'm Kevin, not only am I studying Politics and English Literature at University of Glasgow, but I also simultaneously completed a Philosophy degree in a Parisian uni. The reason I do so much? I love learning: and that is where my passion for teaching comes from. It will be a pleasure to share my enthusiasm for learning (whether it be in Philosophy, Literature, Politics or French). My prior experience of teaching consists of being an English teacher in France for two years (at the Turner Learning Center in Paris). Thanks to my bilingualism I have now been teaching French (as well as Literature and Politics) at GCSE and A level in the UK for the past 2 years.
Exams can be extremely stressful, and having suffered through many, I hope that my experience can help you become fearless and confident in your ability to succeed.

I find it very effective to always link the topics being studied with something that my students can relate to. I structure my classes so that everything that is learnt is immediately applied. My aim is to teach practical and transferable skills and foster personal growth. Teaching methods, and even lesson structure, vary greatly from one student to the next according to their needs and strengths. Sometimes a formal explanation of a topic is in order, sometimes lessons take on a more interractive spin. I can be a demanding teacher: regular work and practice is required to succeed at anything, but hard work always pays off.
