Degree: General Engineering (Masters) - Durham University
Hi, I'm Kaiwen - a 2nd year Engineering student at Durham.
I'm a calm, patient and easy-going person; I'm happy to explain any concept in a number of different ways until the student is comfortable with the topic. I also encourage the student to ask questions about any topic they don't feel comfortable with.
Being an Engineering student, most of the content taught builds upon what was introduced during A Levels (Further Maths, Maths and Physics). This means I encounter it almost on a daily basis and so have an even deeper understanding of the subjects involved.
Throughout most of my school life I was frequently looked to by friends and classmates to help with understanding concepts and guiding them through difficult problems. This helped me realise the importance of staying calm and patient while tutoring. It also helped me realise that different people are more comfortable with different methods to solving the same problem. So I'm able to explain a problem from different viewpoints suitable to the specific student at hand and I aim to find a viewpoint a student is most comfortable with.
Avaliability: Most weekends and select times throughout the week (contact me for more information)
