I am currently in my first year at Bristol University, reading Law. I am passionate about learning but also very excited to teach; and believe that an enthusiastic learning environment is critical for success.
I am patient, mature and easy-going. I have experience with young people and am a qualified peer counsellor, furthermore I have experience of teaching which I gleaned from periods of volunteer work in 3 different schools; where I learnt how vital it is to taylor your method of teaching for each person.
During the sessions I aim to instill I love of the subject as well as the ability to tackle those tricky exam questions in addition to mastering that all important, 'Exam Technique'.
In the sessions we will work out how best you learn and run with that! Hopefully making them fun and enjoyable; turning a subject which you may have struggled with before into one much less of a challenge.
Help with University Applications:
I completely understand how daunting the UCAS application is and I am fully amenable to help. If you are applying for Law there are certain hoops you have to jump through; something I came across in my application. Many high ranking Universities, including Bristol, require applicants to take the LNAT. I achieved points 25/42 in mine, with the average being approximately 18/42 and am available for assistance prior to the test aswell as help with Personal Statements.
If you have any questions, send me a message or book a free meet a tutor session (both accessible through the website). Also remeber to tell me what exam board you are on (Geography and English) and especially which books you are reading for English.
I am available every day (Monday-Friday) from 18.20 as a general rule, but I may be able to do earlier sessions during the week according to my University Timetable commitments.
I look forward to meeting you!
