For my degree I am studying both the Spanish Language and a wide range of Spanish and Latin American literature. I love teaching Spanish and sharing my interest in grammar, culture, and literature. My main interest in Philosophy is Ethics.

I have attended language courses in Jaca and Santander in Spain. I grew up in Belgium and speak fluent French, English and Greek. I am happy to help with oral exam preparation, particularly for Spanish and French. I have experience helping peers edit/write personal statements and literature essays. I am happy to review and edit essays and help with structure and style.

I look forward to meeting you and helping you achieve your goals!

About my sessions

To help students achieve their goals I will ask them what they find challenging and wish to improve on so that I can prepare my tutorials according to students' needs. The exact structure of tutorials can be agreed upon in the 'Meet the Tutor' session. In each tutorial I will give the student questions/exercises/past papers to do and then go through their work with them. I always give detailed feedback, making sure that students understand the material before moving on to the next exercise (for instance, by asking the student to explain the concept to me). If there is a specific topic that the student finds difficult, we can go through it in the tutorial. I will ensure that the exercises and teaching methods are helping them to make progress and build their confidence.

Of course I will adapt my methods dependuexam board, subject. When I was preparing for exams I found that the most effective way to improve was by completing past papers under exam conditions and then seeking detailed critical feedback. What I also found helpful was being asked challenging questions and then tackling them so that firstly, I could identify gaps in my knowledge and so that by the time the exams took place I was prepared for the worst and accustomed to using the knowledge I had to answer difficult questions. I will incorporate these methods into my tutorials as I found them to be very effective.

She is very fun to be tutored by. Also, she helps with everything in French so that you know them very well. Overall, she is an extremely good tutor.
