While living in Belgium, I used to teach my family friends children some English. That is the closest I have ever got to actually teach someone. I obtained 37 points in International Baccalaureate Diploma. I gained three 6 in my higher subjects, which were Business Studies, Philosophy and English and Literature. For my standart subjects, I got 6 in Russian, and both 5 in Physics and Maths Standard.
I am available for tutoring at any time during the day, as I am a law student, and manipulate my own schedule. In these tutoring sessions, I am expecting to gain some teaching exepreince as well as working with diversity of people. I also want to sharpen my skills of explaining and delivering information in a clear and accurate way. Hence, I think this job is a perfect opportunity for me to embody these goals.
My key characteristics are that I am very sociable, tolerant and quite diverse. In my whole life I had lived in 3 different countries, which makes me a more of multicultural person. This will enable me to appraoch tutees from any backgrounds with ease. I am also very supportive and understanding, which I have trained in school while beein a peer tutor.
Generally, I believe that teaching is always a two-sided benefit. I belive, that sometimes, teacher gaines just as much as a student. This is one of the reasons that made me choose to apply for this part-time job. I look forward to take on the duties of a tutor and I also hope to fill in the position that you are looking for!
