Degree: Philosophy, Politics and Economics (Bachelors) - Oxford, Pembroke College University
Hello! I’m currently in my second year at Pembroke College, University of Oxford. I study Philosophy, Politics and Economics, or PPE for short.
What tutorials will be like…
My sessions are completely focussed around you. That means that we’ll talk about what you would like to cover and what you want to get out of the sessions. I like these tutorials to be informal environments in which you can ask lots of questions. I’m very comfortable with the content on the courses that I offer, and will help you to develop a clearer understanding of the issues at hand. I also know how to do well on exams – and we’ll do plenty of exam technique and practice to make sure that you do the best you can.
Finding out more…
It would be great to talk to you. If you’re interested in finding out more, book a meet the tutor session. These are a short online meeting in which we can talk about what you want from the sessions, and give you a chance to see if I’m the right person to help. Look forward to hearing from you soon.

A constitution is a set of principes laid out in a document for the running of a country. It covers the role of the executive (Prime Minister or President), the legislature (e.g. House of Commons) and the judiciary (Supreme Court). Laws that are passed in a country usually have to be within the laws of the constitution, and constitutional law is generally much harder to change than other law, giving it extra protection. In the United States for example, constitutional amendment needs the support of two thirds of both houses of Congress and three quarters of state legislatures. Constitutions also often incorporate a Bill of Rights, which guarantee fundamental human rights.see more
