About me

I am currently studying Medicine at King's College London and since I managed to excel in A-levels, as I believe, I decided to put my knowledge to use even outside my course and help other students achieve the scores they want. Science and Maths are subjects/fields that are often complicated but what I find is that it makes it that much more rewarding when you manage to understand it or solve a difficult problem. Science and Maths are subjects/fields that are often complicated but what I find is that it makes it that much more rewarding when you manage to understand it or solve a difficult problem. I will therefore help my students to get to that point. As I finished my A-levels only recently, I remember clearly what it means to be an A-level student and I will try and use that to make the content of these subjects more approachable to the students (often simply explaining in ''different" language can help greatly) and hopefully their studies less stressful. I will also show and pass on some of the techniques and tricks that I used during my studies that may aid the students in their study.

I am excited to help and work with you!

About my sessions

I believe that the important part about tutoring is to adjust the style according to students needs and therefore I would start by discussing with the students their style of studying and what they struggle with to have a better idea about what needs to be worked on. During the tutorials, I can explain topics the student struggles with and answer any questions that they might bring up. I believe that the important part about tutoring is to adjust the style according to students needs and therefore I would start by discussing with the students their style of studying and what they struggle with to have a better idea about what needs to be worked on. During the tutorials, I can explain topics the student struggles with and answer any questions that they might bring up. Subsequently, I would use past paper questions or exercises, prepared by me, for practice (as science and maths is largely about practice) and also for me to test understanding and keep track of student's progress. In case of EPQ or Medical School Preparation, it would work in a style of mentoring. Since EPQ needs to be written by the student and their topic of interest I can help guide and track his/her progress by giving small deadlines and giving advice about the style and EPQ log. For Medical Education Preparation, I would help with the application process, UKCAT and BMAT preparation and training for interview.
