About me

Availability: I have finished my masters at uni as of the 18/05/16 and I am free almost anytime anyday for tutorials. I am happy to do last minutre revision sessions for summer exams etc.

Exam Boards: Edexcel Maths and Further Maths, AQA Physics. (Modules covered in Maths A-level: C1 C2 C3 C4 M1 M2 S1 S2 D1 FP1 FP2 FP3) I have covered the majority of Exam boards in my years tutoring however the ones above are the ones that I specifically studied.

A bit more about me:

I am currently in my fourth and final year at the University of Nottingham studying my masters in Mathematics. I have been tutoring for around 3 years now and from first hand experience I understand the difficulty and high demand of the subject through all levels of education. It is for that reason that I am here to help and offer guidance and to work with students to achieve their potential and more.

I am a very approachable, friendly and positive person, I believe that the key to a good tutorial is a good relationship between student and tutor. I am here to work with students and parents to make sure that you can gain as much as possible out of the sessions. I am very patient and understanding and am able to help students solve problems using multiple methods and techniques so that they can find a way that they are comfortable with as no two students learn the same!

From my experience in tutoring I have found the best tutorials are the ones where both the tutor and student work together to find the right work to target. I am happy to help in any way that a student requires, whether that be a simple revision tutorial over a single topic, a run through of a module or even just to work through some exam questions together.

My personal aim as a tutor is to help build upon self confidence with the subject as a whole, help students gain a fluency within the subject and to even help encourage a good interest and appreciation of the work.

If you would like to find out more please do not hesitate to contact me and we can arrange a free meet the tutor session.
