About me

Maths and Geography have always been my favourite and strongest subjects so studying a subject at university that combines the two as well as aspects of physics was perfect. I've always loved bridges and so studying Civil Engineering made complete sense to me. I think that my passion for my subjects will really help the students to improve because it means the lessons will be far more interactive and interesting and so the student will be more keen to listen and engage.

About my sessions

Intially, I would ask the students what the main areas are that they struggle with, and I would then ask them to go through a typical exam paper compeltely unaided so that I can see the times when the student commonly gets stuck and so identfy key areas to work on. Every 2 weeks I would ask the student to go through another exam paper and see if the student can get further through the questions than before and also monitor if the marks are improving. I think leaving school so recently will me...
