Degree: Medicine (Bachelors) - Oxford, St Hilda's College University
Hi, my name is Maxime, and I am currently in my third year of studying medicine at Oxford University. I have been tutored face to face by some of the world's leading scientists, and I want to use this experience to tutor Biology and Maths.
So you are probably wondering how I would go about a session. First of all, before the session I will ask you for your exam board and ask you what areas of the syllabus you would like us to cover.
The first 10 minutes of the session will be spent covering short questions related to the current session, or the previous one, which I will send you in advance.
The following 30 minutes will be used for the main subject of the tutorial. This will be very much like an Oxford tutorial, and I will ask you plenty of questions, while I will expect plenty of questions in return. There will be many diagrams as these are a great visual memory aid.
The final 15 minutes will be saved for exam technique and past papers, as these are very time efficient ways to prepare and score highly in public exams.
Additionally I have also been through the application system and received several offers for medicine. Therefore I can also help with personal statements and medicine applications.
Please send me any questions, and I look forward to meeting you.
