About me

I'm Will and I'm a third year chemistry student at the University of Durham - I'm studying for a masters and loving the challenges that chemistry at a university level holds. I love inspiring students of all ages and levels to love chemistry, maths and science in general as much as I do. I love chemistry because it encompasses so many exciting scientific concepts and helps to explain the physical world we live in at a small scale, something that I find fascinating. It also means that the lessons are interactive and the student can get involved. I wouldn't norm...

I like to divide my lessons up into approximately 20 minutes of work followed by 40 minutes of questions/problems, this varies by student but I have found this is the best way to develop a student's skills. It also means that the lessons are interactive and the student can get involved. I wouldn't normally set homework but sometimes it is useful for the student to go over some questions which we can then go over in the lesson.
