About me

I am a third year law student at the University of Oxford currently reading Spanish Law on my year abroad in Barcelona. I have 10 A* grades at GCSE and 4A*s at A Level in Maths, Spanish, Chemistry and History, all of which I found incredibly interesting - which is why I didn't drop a subject going into year 13! I would love for the opportunity to revisit these subjects and explore them further than I was able to in my own study by helping and inspiring interest in other students.

I would love for the opportunity to revisit these subjects and explore them further than I was able to in my own study by helping and inspiring interest in other students.

I have been tutoring other students, including my own younger brothers, for many years, in lower school, at GCSE and beyond, and really love helping others achieve their full potential. In particular, I'd love to be able to help as many students as possible achieve their needed grades to obtain places in their desired colleges and university, and most importantly, in the subjects they find most interesting!

In addition to reading law at University, I have also really enjoyed rowing, running and holding Committee positions within my college, including both JCR Secretary and JCR Welfare Officer.

I look forward to hearing from you.

About my sessions

I have a wealth of knowledge, notes and documents from my school and university studies, and having tutored younger students for many years I have an understanding of how to cater to different types of learners. I am keen to provide interactive learning, through marking essays or questions, having language oral sessions and discussing and drawing out what you are struggling with - basically helping in any way I can.

I believe that every student should have goals to aim for, and although these often materialise in the form of achieving a particular grade, I know that specialised, individual goals to each student are much more important. I am keen to help all those trying to ace a particular maths or chemistry topic, write an LNAT essay or develop their Spanish oral skills, as I believe it's the smaller goals that keep students wanting to learn.

Hannah is a lovely person, provides concise and informative lessons, and responds swiftly to any questions that I have. Can't have asked for a better tutor to prepare me for university.

Hannah has been teaching me for the past few weeks and has taught me more than my own teacher has in the same amount of time! She also replies extremely fast and is very flexible.
