Describe the process of eating to defecation of food.

After biting off a chunk of food using our teeth, it is chewed with repetitive action of our jaw and teeth. Then with swallow reflex ,bolus of food enters our oesophagus via peristalsis and then the stomach where strong acid neutralise any pathogens ans chemical digestion takes place. The food then enters the small intestine where most of the nutrients are absorbed. With gut peristalsis, the food moves into large intestine where most of the water is absorbed and waste products are added. The end products stays into colon until there is urge to defecate and then it leaves the body.
