What do I do if I'm running out of time?

one word: TRIAGE. You have to assess which questions are too time-consuming and not worth spending your precious seconds on. It's always best to guess at a very time-consuming question in order to correctly answer three much shorter questions correctly. If you're running out of time, don't panic! The UKCAT is designed to test you and it's very difficult to finish within the time frame. If you've been triaging all the way through, hopefully you'll be on track to have answered a large percentage of questions. You simply have to double your pace. If a question is taking too long to read, guess an answer and go on to the next. NEVER LEAVE A QUESTION BLANK. If you're down to the last ten seconds, ensure that you can click through and guess all your unanswered questions. Chances are that you'll get at least a few of them correct!
