How do I expand brackets?

Say we have the brackets (x+1)(x+2) we would expand this by timesing everything in one bracket by everything in the other Demonstrate the claw method in the teaching workplace This gives us x+ 2x + 1x +2 which simplifies to x2+3x+2 if we collect like terms
