Why does inverse sin,cos or tan of numbers have multiple answers

When told to find angles when equations are involving sin,cos or tan at a level a range will be provided. You have to find all the angles within the given range. Multiple angles will be found as there will be a symmetry of graph answer (draw sine, cos and tan graph and explain) and a repeating cycle answer (draw sine and cos graph and explain)

Find the tangent to the curve y = x^2 + 3x + 2 that passes through the point (-1,0), sketch the curve and the tangent.

Write 9sin(x) + 12 cos(x) in the form Rsin(x+y) and hence solve 9sin(x) + 12 cos(x) = 3

A straight line passes through the point (2,1) and has a gradient of 3. Find the co-ordinates where the line crosses the x and y axes

Let f(x)= x^3 -9x^2 -81x + 12. Calculate f'(x) and f''(x). Use f'(x) to calculate the x-values of the stationary points of this function.
