What are one religions view on euthanasia. (6 marks)

Roman Catholics disapprove of  abortion as they believe in the sanctity of life, they believe that human life has intrinsic value as God man in his image. They also believe that life begins at comception, therefore an embryo also has intrinsic value. Some Roman Catholics view abortion as murder wich is a sin under the sixth commandment “thou shall not murder” and therefore abortion is not permitted under Roman Catholisms. However, some argue abortion can be justified and permitted if the mother’s life is in danger, allowed under the double effect.
