What is the genre of Lorca's "The house of Bernarda Alba"

This question is open to a discussion because even though the Author clasifies this play as a "Drama" it can be as well a "Tragedy". It fits in the category of a tragedy because its ending is the death of one of the mains character, that finds death after fighting agains her fate as in a clasical tragedy, and the play lacks of the comedy of a dramatic play. But yet Lorca consider it is a Drama, more exactly "A drama of women in Spainish countryside" this is probably because of the broadest sense of the word drama in Spanish rather than a reference to the genre of the play. Besides it is true that no matter what the author states the reader opinion has great value in interpreting a piece of literature, most of the times a bigger than the author itself. So we can conclude that The House of Bernarda Alba is a tragedy.
