What is the indefinite integral of cos^2x?

List Trigonmetric identities which could help to simpilfy integral

Use cos(2x)= Cos2x-sin2x and sin2x=1-cos2x

Sub identity 2 into 1 and rearrange to show Cos2x=(1+cos2x)/2

and integrate to find the answer is x/2 + sin(2x)/4 + c

Find dy/dx of the equation y=x^2 ln⁡(2x^2+1).

i) It is given that f(x)=(-5-33x)/((1+x)(1+5x)), express f(x) in the form A/(1+x) + B/(1+5x) where A,B are integers. ii) hence express the integral of f(x) between x=3 and x=0 in the form (p/q)ln4 where p,q are integers.

Find the binomial expansion of (4-8x)^(-3/2) in ascending powers of x, up to and including the term in x^3. Give each coefficient as a fraction in its simplest form. For what range of x is a binomial expansion valid?
