How does Arthur Miller present ideas about witch-hunts in The Crucible?

The 'How does' question is very common in a GCSE English Literature exams. In terms of the strcuture, it is important to keep it clear and concise, for example, ordering it through ideas (parallels between the historical events in Salem and what Miller depicts, impact of the witch hunts on characters lives/motivation that the girls had, and how this parallels to the witch hunts, specific characters and their embodiment of the witch hunts - the priest, general society... Lexical choice by Miller to depict the hysteria, religious and judicial language, McCarthyism and many more. It is also vital in GCSE essays to use specific terminology, not only from the question, but also from the mark schemes. This inlcudes words such as: juxtaposition, lexis, connotation, depiction etc The essay would also be framed by an introduction, outlining the argument, and the conclusion, answering the question of 'How'.
