Do I need to remember researcher names and dates?

No. As long as you can outline the study and it’s findings, the examiner will know what you’re talking about. Of course you’re expected to know about Zimbardo and Milgram for example but that will come with practice anyway. Any of the smaller less significant studies (e.g. Rank and Jacobson) you only need to know what’s mentioned above.
