A cone has a radius of 2 units and a height of 3 units. Devise a simplified equation to find the volume of the cone.

Vol = 1/3 pi r^2 h

r = 2n

h = 3n

Therefore

Vol = 1/3.pi.(2n)^2.3n

Vol = 1/3.pi.12n^3

Vol = 4.pi.n^3

The point P has coordinates (3,4). The Point Q has the coordinates (a,b). A line perpendicular to PQ is given by the equation 3x+2y=7. Find an expression for b in terms of a.

if b is two thirds of c. 5a = 4c Work out the ratio a : b : c

Rearrange the following, making c the subject: (3c + b)/2 = c + a

Simplify the algebraic expression: (3x^2-7x-6)/(x^2-6x+9)
