Why do you want to study medicine?

There are many reasons why I want to study this subject, and it mostly stems from a few major points. First, I have a keen interest in science, particularly human biology. The scientific field fascinates me, and that helps motivate me to research and learn more in this field on my own, furthering my knowledge and my interest. Medicine is a subject and a career working at the very forefront of scientific innovation, combining cutting edge biological, chemical, and engineering research with a more human side. This is also important to me, as another reason medicine is so appealing to me is the personal aspect. I am very driven in wanting to help people around me and in my community, and medicine is an excellent way into such a rewarding way of life. It allows you to be part of a huge scientific community furthering research into brilliant areas, while also enabling you to meet and help people from all walks of life, furthering your own experiences and understanding of those around you, and that, to me, is a fascinating subject.
