Joe buy a pack of 7 chocolate bars. The pack costs £5.97, Joe sells all 7 chocolate bars for 87p each. Work out Joes percentage profit to 2 decimal places.

7 x £0.87 = £6.09(6.09/5.97) x 100 = 102.01%so percentage profit is 2.01% to 2 d.p.

Solve the simultaneous equations: x^2 + y^2 = 25 and y − 2x = 5

Expand the following brackets, (6x^2-4)(2x+3)

A curve has equation y = x^3 - 48x. The point A on the curve has x coordinate -4. Is A a stationary point?

The equation of the line L1 is y = 3x – 2. The equation of the line L2 is 3y – 9x + 5 = 0. Show that these two lines are parallel.
