What is an idiom?

An idiom is a colloquial phrase or saying. You should try to include them in your writing to demonstrate cultural awareness and range of language. For example, 'ser un pan comido' (to be a piece of cake) is an idiom meaning that something is really easy, 'a piece of cake'.
