If a right angled triangle has its longest side 7cm and another side is 4cm then how long is the other side of the triangle? Show your working

Right angle means use Pythagorus:
a2 + b2 = c2
thereforea2 = c2 - b2 = 72 - 42 = 49-16 = 33
so a= root 33a= 5.74 (2dp)
