At a concert, the number of men, women and children can be expressed with the following ratio: 6:11:4 There were 6525 more women than men. How many children were at the concert?

We know there are 6525 more women than men. We can deduce that 5 'parts' = 6525 as 11-6=5If 5 parts = 6525. 1 part = 6525/5 = 1305.We know that 4 parts are children so, 1305 * 4 = 5220Alternatively, once you have figured out 5 parts = 6525. You can multiply 6525 by 4/5 to get 5220.
