What is Pythagoras' Theorem for finding the length of a side of a triangle?

Pythagoras' Theorem can only be used on right angle triangles. To find the length of side a, the theorem can be used as follows:
a2=h2-b2
Taking the square root of the right-hand side of the equation will yield the length of side a of the right-angle triangle.
