Solve for x the equation 1/(3x-6) +2/(x-2) =5

Firstly we would approach the question by looking at the question by attempting to group together the x terms to solve for x. By looking at the question we can see that the x terms are the denominators so we attempt to form a single fraction. I can see that (x-2) is a factor of (3x-6). So I will multiply the fraction by 3. This will then allow me to group the fractions together giving me 7/(3x-6)=5
then I would multiply both sides by 3x-6 giving me 7=15x-30 then I would add 30 to both sides giving me 15x=37the finally you would divide both sides by 15 giving you the value for x=37/15

Find the equation of the line perpendicular to y=2x-1 that passes through (2,0)

A)Write x^2 – 8x + 25 in the form (x – a)^ 2 + b. (B) Write down the coordinates of the turning point of the graph of y = x2 – 8x + 25. (C)Hence describe the single transformation which maps the graph of y = x2 onto the graph of y = x2 – 8x + 25.
