How do I improve my French speaking and listening skills ?

The best and easiest way I have found to improve listening and speaking skills in french is to watch french films and/ or listen to french radio programmes. This can be done whenever you have a spare moment, and is a fast, stress free way to assimilate new vocabulary and grammar structures, as you hear them in a wider context. Another tip: write down a few phrases you hear repeated throughout the film/ programme and you will remember how to use them in context and build your vocabulary all at the same time.
