What makes you a good English teacher, even if you are not a native speaker?

Even though I am not a native speaker, at university, here in the UK I have learned that non-native speakers are more precise in proper grammar writing, as they put more pressure on it. I believe I might be able to help you notice mistakes you would normally ignore.
