Describe two assumptions of the biological approach.

1 - brain organisation. There are 4 lobes; frontal, parietal, occipital, and temporal. Each lobe has its own function. The brain is split into 2 hemispheres. The left hemisphere is associated with logical thinking, while the right hemisphere is said to be involved with more creative processes. 2 - role of genetics. Genes are found in our DNA, and are inherited from our parents. Inherited genes can influence behaviour, e.g. a gene that causes aggression may have been passed on from a parent to the child, and so the child may be as aggressive as the parent.
